How to use TapuTapu™ at Universal’s Volcano Bay

TapuTapu™ is part of Universal’s Volcano Bay experience. It is included with your theme park admission and only used at the water park. Upon entering, each person will receive a TapuTapu wrist band and when you leave the park for the day, your will return it. You’ll just need to set up an account and assign a credit card. Then, when you’re in Volcano Bay, you’ll enjoy the ease and convenience of making most transactions with a simple tap of your TapuTapu. These bands are waterproof and can be worn on all waterrides and swimming.

Volcano Bay attractions all feature virtual line, with TapuTapu, you will be able to scan your band, give you a return time. This will secure your place line and allow you to others things while you wait. You can go relax by one of the many pools or beaches, grab a bite to eat, or use interactive play function with your band and look for innocent victims to squirt with water!

With you TapuTapu band you can…

• Virtually wait in lines if there is any wait, allowing you more time to have fun.
• Open and lock your lockers with just a tap of your band. Use one of the lockers to keep your important personal items dry, including your wallet
• Pay for food, drinks, and souvenirs. You won’t have to worry about your wallet getting wet with TapuTapu (alcoholic beverages will require ID)
• Take shots at special photo spots and get photos taken automatically on select attractions.
• Wearever you see the TapuTapu symbol, scan your band and Volcano Bay’s hidden surprises are yours to command.
